The removal of the membranes from the rooftop, the construction of the waterproof concrete will be simpler and faster as it would not have any detailing and designing needed. The article further explains that waterproof concrete reduces exposure risk as cracks are easily repaired with just a simple injection. As the concrete used is already waterproof, there is a high probability to eliminate the need for root barrier in the construction. Finally, the article concludes that waterproof concrete lowers the overall cost of the project which results in better investment for the society.

  1. Dear Jun Han,

Here is some of the feedbacks that I have for you for your summary. In terms of citations, I think there is not much to cite as you paraphrased your sentences well. At the beginning of the summary, you should state that you gotten this article off a website and stating that the author is the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.

There is a part where you said that “the root barriers could be eliminated”. I am not sure if that is true or not because the article stated that it is “probable that its can be removed” and it is still in testing. You might want to check out that part.
Overall, I think it is a good summary, some grammar mistakes here and there and sentences that are too long. Good job!

    Regards
    Zaccheus
