Critical Reflection
Throughout this 12 weeks Journey with Professor Brad and my fellow classmates, I felt that I have learnt lots of new things from this module. Initially, I had the mindset that effective communication is just a time-wasting module. However, after going through all this lessons and class activities, I learnt to be more conscious of my grammar and sentence structuring. I began searching for more grammar and language related articles through the links provided in Symbaloo and units provided in the google docs. These additional details allow me to have better language usage and also boost my confidence in report writing. To improve my communication skills, I took the courage to present multiple times with different group of friends to boost my confidence level. I felt more confident on the actual presentation day as I was familiar with the content of my presentation as well as the audience. To further improve my communication skills, I would try to expose myself to communicate more with others.
One key takeaway from our research project was learning how to put all the information that my team and I have researched. Researching of information was not adverse as we have learnt how to search for articles and reports using SIT one search and google scholar through the SIT library workshop. My team and I often have many conflicting opinions on the information to put into the report as we always have different ideology for each section. However, my team and I managed to pull through this conflict by settling down and listening to each other opinions before reaching an agreement. Overall, through this project, I learnt to always work as a team and not to be too self-reliant as working as team can help one another to make the work progress more effectively.
Thank you for this final reflection, Jun Han. I appreciate your effort with this reflecion assignment and your hard work with the module in general.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes as you continue your learning journey at SIT and beyond.
